Virtual Mobility World

The increasing networking and digitization in the mobility industry leads to systems that are even more complex and to large amounts of data. This offers opportunities and challenges and requires innovative methods to research, analyze, develop and secure new mobility technologies. Virtual Mobility (ViM) aims to build a prototype platform for the research and the development of innovative business models that can be used by stakeholders to test novel mobility services. The goal is the development of a data and software framework, which enables the introduction and use of different digital and modular components and mobility data, taking into account any proprietary components. In particular, the platform allows the combination of real and simulated data to generate a realistic virtual world. Data analysis modules complement this image and help to evaluate and interpret it.
